Pay Some Respect! Stellar improvements in boost on our project Civic will demand respect in the upcoming ’08 Sport FWD Season!

The 1996 Civic hatchback EK is powered by a B-Series, T4 turbocharged motor, to meet NHRA specs. This motor is fortified internally with forged pistons and connecting rods for maximum street performance. The modifications make it capable of 500hp while maintaining the reliability of a stock car. It’s locked into 20lbs of boost, with the supercharger running more efficiently. A Vtec Head with a mild port and polish with upgraded valves, valve springs, and retainers was used. In addition to the motor modifications performed, the suspension and exterior have been modified to present a sleek, JDM-looking Honda Civic. The rims of choice were 15" Rotas. A skunk-2 suspension was installed to increase the stability and handling of the civic while on the street and at the track. Suspension mods include a full coil-over suspension set-up. Adjustments to the ride height and corner weight of each individual wheel, gives ultimate flexibility for precise street tuning. A civic type-r front lip and a duck bill rear spoiler were installed to provide a clean look as well as increase aerodynamics. The interior of this car was kept stock with the exception of 2000 front seats. The Civic has the upper hand in mid- and low-speed corners with its superior braking and instant torque. The chase… join me as we play cat-and-mouse, corner after corner. Project Civic’s brilliance in coping with the abuse made all its flaws seem relatively minor. That is when I decided Project Civic is near completion… are you ready to hit the streets and pay some respect?
